FAQ
Questions before we build.
What is a static website?
A static website is a fast, secure website built to present your business clearly without unnecessary software or systems. It can include pages, photos, galleries, contact forms, links, maps, and other normal website features. If your site needs to explain your business, show your work, and help customers contact you, this is the right fit.
How much does a website cost?
Most small-business websites range from $2,000 to $5,000. Straightforward sites with up to five pages typically fall between $2,000 and $3,500. Larger sites with up to eight pages typically fall between $3,500 and $5,000. Projects requiring more than eight pages, integrations, data, APIs, or other custom functionality are quoted individually.
What is included in annual maintenance?
Annual maintenance covers routine updates to existing website content that do not materially change a page's layout, structure, functionality, or purpose. Maintenance includes up to one reasonable batch of minor changes per month, completed within 10 business days after we acknowledge the request. Unused monthly changes do not roll over.
How much is annual maintenance?
For sites up to five pages, annual maintenance is $250. For sites up to eight pages, annual maintenance is $400. Sites larger than eight pages are quoted individually. Domain and hosting management is available for an additional $250 per year.
Do you handle the domain and hosting?
Yes. You can manage your own domain and hosting, or Will They Find You can handle them for an additional annual fee. If we manage them, we handle normal domain renewal, DNS, hosting setup, SSL and deployment administration, and keeping the site connected.
How long does a website take to build?
Most projects are completed within a few weeks once we have the information, content, images, approvals, and access needed to begin. The exact timeline depends on the size and complexity of the site and will be listed in the Statement of Work.
What do I need to provide?
We will need the basic information about your business, including your services, contact information, hours, logo, photos, and any content you want included. If you already own a domain, we may also need access to the account so we can connect the site.
Who owns the website?
Once the project is paid in full, you own the finished website and the content you provided for it. Third-party assets and services remain subject to their own licenses and terms.
How many revision rounds are included?
Two rounds of revisions are included with the project. We ask that feedback be grouped together for each round so changes can be handled efficiently. Requests that add new pages, features, or materially change the agreed scope are quoted separately.
What happens if I need something outside the original scope?
Anything outside the approved Statement of Work is quoted separately before the additional work begins.
What happens after launch?
We make sure the public site is live and functioning as agreed. Ongoing routine updates are available through an annual maintenance plan. Domain and hosting management are also available for an additional annual fee.
Is there a warranty after launch?
Yes. For 30 calendar days after launch, we will correct defects in the website that prevent it from functioning as agreed in the Statement of Work. New requests, content changes, added features, third-party outages, and issues caused by a new hosting environment are not included.
Do you guarantee Google rankings or SEO results?
No. We build websites that are clean, fast, mobile-friendly, and structured sensibly, but we do not guarantee search-engine placement, traffic, leads, or sales.
How do payments work?
Projects require a deposit to begin. The remaining balance, including any approved pre-launch additions, must be paid before the site is published or released. The exact project price and payment schedule are listed in the Statement of Work.
